Yaki Onigiri Japanese Rice Balls

Yield: 7 servings | Prep Time: 5 minutes | Cook Time: 25 minutes

Ingredients

  • 2 cups sushi rice, cooked
  • 1 Tbsp. butter

Miso Paste:

Directions

  1. Cook rice according to package directions.
  2. Combine all miso paste ingredients and set aside.
  3. When rice is cooked divide into 7 portions. Shape rice into triangles.
  4. In sauté pan melt butter and sear both sides. Brush both sides with paste and cook on both sides until crispy. Garnish with scallions and sesame seeds.

Tips:

Add a splash of NAKANO® Rice Vinegar to your water for fluffy, tasty rice
